Mastering Mixology
OSRS Mixology Calculator
Choose your Mixology rewards and enter your resin balances to see the herbs and playing time still needed. Switch to money making to compare Aldarium and chugging barrel profit.
How long until your Mixology rewards?
Add the resin cost of your selected rewards, subtract each current balance, and divide each shortage by its hourly rate. Use the longest of those three times.
For supplies, subtract paste already in your bank or hopper, then round up to whole herbs for each colour.
Only Lye resin left for goggles
How long is left if I have enough Mox and Aga, but only 6,350 Lye resin?
3,000 Lye resin still needed, or 1 estimated playing hour at 3,000 Lye per hour. Mox and Aga already cover the goggles. Lye sets the remaining playing time; refining and breaks are separate.
How your level affects the estimate
Below 81 Herblore, paste and resin estimates use the recipes you can make. Level 81 unlocks Mixalot, and the calculator switches to the active-play estimate for the full recipe list. You can use your measured resin and paste rates instead.
Is Aldarium or a chugging barrel better money?
Aldarium costs 80 Mox, 60 Aga and 90 Lye resin. A disassembled chugging barrel costs 17,250 Mox, 14,000 Aga and 18,600 Lye. Compare hourly profit for a longer grind, then check how many whole rewards your next session can buy.
Hourly profit includes herb costs, GE tax and refining time. Resin you already own counts towards session sales, but not hourly profit.
