What stays in your browser

Your calculator entries are kept in this browser and used only to calculate the result on the page. OSRS Compass does not send RuneScape names, levels, XP, GP, prices, costs, selected targets, forecasts, pace or observed counts to analytics. You can replace a loaded value at any time. A value you type always takes priority.

Optional public Hiscores lookup

If you enter a RuneScape name, OSRS Compass sends it through its lookup endpoint to Jagex public Hiscores. Your name, fetch time, public skill levels and XP, and Barrows chest count may be kept in this browser for up to 24 hours. Loading an account once fills the relevant skill when you open another calculator or planner. XP you edit stays with that account during your browser session; loading Hiscores again refreshes those values. These account values are never sent to analytics. Cloudflare and Jagex may keep ordinary delivery or security logs.

Hiscores cannot show your bank, equipment, item charges, exact drop dates or whether the chest and drop counts cover the same period.

Site analytics

OSRS Compass uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for page visits and performance. The site does not send your RuneScape name or calculator entries to it. Cloudflare says this service collects limited information and does not track people across its customers' sites.

Separately, our first-party counters measure successful calculator results and planner routes, including before you choose and after Necessary only. Each tool counts at most once per page load after an interaction produces a valid result. These are use totals, not unique people. The counter request contains only the tool and action; it sends no cookies or referrer. We store only a daily total for each tool and action, with no visitor identifiers, RuneScape names, entered values, item or method choices, or page addresses. The counter does not create individual event records. Cloudflare still handles the network request and may keep ordinary delivery or security logs separately.

If you allow optional analytics, OSRS Compass also loads Google Analytics for page-view, acquisition and tool-use reporting. Google Analytics is not loaded before consent. Usage events tell us which calculator or planner you interacted with, whether it produced a valid result, whether you used a guide’s contents menu, and which tool you opened from a guide. Barrows also distinguishes checking any equipment from checking one specific item; it does not send the item’s identity. We do not include RuneScape names, entered levels, XP, chest counts, prices or other calculator values. Page addresses sent by this integration omit query strings and fragments; referrers include only the originating site. Ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization stay denied, and Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled. Use Privacy settings to change your choice at any time. Turn Analytics off and save, or choose Necessary only, to withdraw. Withdrawal removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the Google tag. Your choice is saved in local storage; if your browser blocks that storage, it may ask again on your next visit. Interactions before consent are discarded for Google and are never replayed. Our independent daily counters continue.

Optional feedback form

The feedback page offers a Google Form, loaded only when you choose Load Google Form or open the external link. Loading connects to Google separately from site analytics and may use cookies. If you submit it, Google processes what you enter under its Privacy Policy. OSRS Compass can read your response, but does not link it to your RSN or calculator values. Feedback is optional. Do not enter passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
