What changes Barrows equipment odds?

Does 100% reward potential give more equipment?

No. Killing brothers changes the equipment chance and which pieces you can receive. Killing tunnel monsters raises reward potential for the common rewards, such as runes and bolt racks. Filling that percentage does not improve your chance of a Barrows piece.

Why kill all six brothers for this calculator?

Killing all six gives seven reward rolls, each with a 1/102 equipment chance, and makes all 24 pieces available. Skipping a brother changes the rolls and the possible items. Use only all-six chests here so the comparison matches your runs.

Is a piece guaranteed once I reach the average rate?

No. An exact piece averages about one drop per 350 chests, but that average is not a deadline. The chest does not remember your previous runs. The chance target above shows how many additional chests give a 50%, 90% or 95% chance, with time based on your pace.

This calculator checks equipment odds; it does not predict collection-log completion or loot value.

How Barrows drop odds work

With all six brothers killed, each Barrows chest gives seven reward rolls. Every roll has a 1/102 chance of Barrows equipment. For one specific item, that works out to 7/2,448 per chest.

How the chance is calculated

For one exact item: 7 reward rolls ÷ 102 ÷ 24 items = 7/2,448 per chest. Across multiple chests, the calculator treats each chest opening as independent.

What the calculator covers

Use it for chests where all six brothers were killed. It shows per-chest and cumulative target odds, calculates the chance over a future number of chests, and shows whether an entered result is dry, normal, or lucky. Common rewards, selective brother kills, loot values, and collection log completion need different calculations.
